We had the pleasure of having my cousin Lacey and her husband Benny come out to detail Liliya’s car recently. We heard a few weeks ago that they had opened a car detailing business. Liliya and I were intrigued and, well, Liliya’s car was a mess so it made sense to schedule an appointment. To be fair to Liliya she does have kids in her car all the time. To be fair to the kids, it is not all them.
Benny came out to our house, so points for convenience, and got to work. Liliya decided she just needed the inside done. I did not watch him perform the work, but I did see the result and I remember what it looked like before he started as I was responsible for removing the car seats and such the night before he started. They were just leaving as I arrived home but after I bid them a fond farewell, I looked at Liliya’s car. It looked brand new and it smelled amazing.
There was not a single speck of dust and he had even gotten some gum out of the carpet. I honestly felt bad putting the car seats back in. It felt like I was tainting a sacred space. Liliya said the same. I intend to schedule my own car with them soon.
